Important scope
Coaching Disclaimer
A clear description of what coaching is—and what it is not.
What coaching is
Abbey's coaching is an educational, reflective, goal-oriented service intended to support self-awareness, decision-making, and self-directed action. Coaching may include questions, observations, planning, and accountability within the agreed scope.
What coaching is not
Coaching is not psychotherapy, psychiatric care, medical care, nutrition treatment, diagnosis, crisis intervention, legal advice, financial advice, or matchmaking. Abbey does not diagnose or treat physical or mental-health conditions and does not promise healing or any particular result.
Your responsibility
You remain responsible for your choices, actions, safety, and results. Seek qualified licensed professionals for needs outside coaching, and do not delay or discontinue professional care because of site content or coaching conversations.
Emergencies and crisis support
This website, email inbox, social channels, and coaching service are not monitored emergency resources. If you may harm yourself or someone else, or are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. In the United States and its territories, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
When a coaching relationship begins
Browsing the site, viewing content, or sending an email does not create a coaching relationship. A relationship begins only after mutual agreement and completion of the required client documents.
Confidentiality and results
Client confidentiality, records, technology, and exceptions will be described in the coaching agreement. Coaching confidentiality is not the same as legal privilege. Results vary, and public content may not apply to your circumstances.
